Operation Overcome
Plan
A future where young people feel connected, significant, and empowered in their mental health.
Operation Overcome is building a national movement around youth mental health in Canada. We aim to spark 1 million breakthrough moments of connection and belonging, that help youth feel seen, supported, and linked to local and national mental health resources.

The Challenge
Too many young people feel disconnected and alone
In Canada, about 1 in 5 young people will experience a mental health challenge. Many young people struggle with feelings of disconnection and hopelessness, yet don’t know where to turn or feel comfortable asking for help. Outreach programs can open the door—but without accessible, connected services on the other side, that door often closes again. Fragmented systems, limited awareness, and gaps in mental health education mean too many young people miss the chance to get help when it matters most.

The Opportunity
Turning connection into care
Creating moments of connection can play a powerful role in youth mental health. When young people feel seen, understood and know where to turn, seeking support becomes more possible. Stronger connections between mental health services also matter. When outreach, education, and mental health services are better linked, young people are not left to navigate fragmented systems alone. Operation Overcome aims to be the bridge between the hurt and the help.
Our solution
Stronger Together
When the right people and organizations work together, transformation happens.

People
Meet the leaders
Operation Overcome is led by Robb Nash of the Robb Nash Project and Tegan Moss of the Kelty Foundation, and supported by an Advisory Council—bringing together a broad network of experts, partners, and people with lived experience to guide strategy, funding, and impact.

Robb Nash
Cause Leader, Canadian Rockstar, & Founder of the Robb Nash Project
Robb Nash is a Canadian musician, speaker, and mental health advocate whose work has reached hundreds of thousands of young people across Canada. After surviving a life-altering car accident as a teenager, Robb turned to music to process trauma and connect with others—shaping his life’s work. With his charity, the Robb Nash Project, he has spent more than a decade performing in schools and communities, using music and storytelling to open conversations about mental health, resilience, and self-worth. His impact has been recognized with the Order of Manitoba, a Meritorious Service Medal from the Governor General of Canada, and recognition from the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health. As a Cause Leader of Operation Overcome, Robb brings lived experience and creative leadership to help create breakthrough moments that result in youth seeking the mental health support they need.
"As someone who personally struggled to find resources when I needed help with my mental health and addiction issues…..I knew that we needed to use our platform and connections to bridge the gap between the hurting and the help that is available."

Tegan Moss
Cause Leader & President of Kelty Foundation
Tegan Moss is President of The Kelty Patrick Dennehy Foundation, where she leads efforts to prevent youth depression and suicide through early mental health education, expanded access to care, and stigma reduction—with a particular focus on elementary school–aged children. Through initiatives like the Kind Mind program, she champions resilience-building, early intervention, and equipping families with practical tools and language to support open conversations about mental health.
A Canadian actress with more than three decades in film and television, and a co-founder of a Vancouver-based branding and marketing agency, Tegan brings both storytelling expertise and strategic leadership to her work. As a mother of two, she is deeply committed to ensuring children and families can access the support they need to navigate life’s challenges.
"Losing 2 cousins to mental health related illnesses, I recognize that kids need early intervention with multiple touchpoints along their journey. By putting preventative measures in place and working together with other organizations we can ensure we are reaching each child and youth when, and how, they need it. We truly are stronger together."
