Making a recurring gift to your own Chimp account is not new news. Ahem, One Year One Percent. But now, donors can make a recurring gift directly to charities who are using Chimp’s Charity Widget.

So what made our tech team build this feature (when they could have been eating cupcakes instead?)?
We heard from many charities that Chimp could really help by creating a widget that addressed several of their pain points, including the complexity involved in asking for and processing recurring gifts.
