Tech’s Got Talent Gears up to Raise Funds for Kids Charities

Competition is heating up for Tech’s Got Talent, a Vancouver tech sector fundraising event co-hosted by Chimp and Plenty of Fish.
Twenty tech companies have signed up to take their best talent out of the office and put them in the spotlight where they’ll lip synch their hearts out for a good cause.
Each participating company has chosen a local kids charity to support, and is raising a minimum $1,000 to secure their spot in the competition. Participants have the opportunity to earn an additional $4,500 in charitable prize money for their chosen charities the night of the event.
So far, the competition looks pretty fierce. The Chimp team warmed up for the event with its Give Remix in support of Backpack Buddies, while Plenty of Fish got the ball rolling with Queen’s Don’t Stop Me Now.
