Person in a flooded area.

Our research team has assembled a list of charities addressing urgent needs in British Columbia.

The BC floods have displaced thousands of British Columbians, destroyed homes, and affected livelihoods. As rainfall continues in Western Canada, this is an ongoing situation. Many have been left stranded and are relying on support from relief organizations and the generosity of others.

Humanitarian and relief organizations are providing shelter, food, and essential goods to evacuees as well as the hard-working first responders in afflicted communities.

In response to donors’ questions about how Canadians can help, we have put together a list of charities that have made appeals for donations specific to the BC floods. You can follow the links below to learn more about these qualified donees.

From your Impact Account, you can easily manage your giving to one or multiple charities—and keep track of where you have donated. Keep in mind: when you donate on Charitable Impact, you have the flexibility to decide how you will communicate with charities. You have the option to add a brief message indicating how you would like to direct your gift (even if you give without sharing your name or contact information). The charity will receive this message with your gift.
