Charitable Impact

With students back at school, it’s been an active fall for fundraisers on Chimp. From rallying students and alumni to putting technology to work for peace, here are three campaigns we’re excited about.

What are you fundraising for this month?

PeaceGeeks – Heroes for Peace

PeaceGeeks has kicked off their annual crowdfunding campaign to fund 25 partnerships in 2015 that empower grassroots organizations working to promote peace and human rights through technology.

All donations (up to $1,000 per donor) to the PeaceGeeks campaign are being doubled by the Black Family Foundation.

OLSWA Alumni Giving Back

Alumni play a meaningful role in supporting education for future generations. As part of their homecoming celebration on October 24, Our Lady Seat of Wisdom Academy (OLSWA) alumni are challenging each other to raise $15,000 — enough to purchase a new school bus.

CapU Takes a Hike

Go, go, Empower Rangers! A group of Capilano University students is raising money to empower at-risk youth as part of their We Day Vancouver commitment.

All donations to the CapU Take A Hike campaign (up to $250 per donor) are being matched for a limited time as part of Ignite Giving. Explore all the campaigns taking part in Ignite Giving and start something big today.
