How giving is good for business

During tough times, it’s common for everyone to tighten their belts and cut costs where they can. People do it for their individual pocketbooks, and companies do the same for their bottom line.

But there are plenty of instances where spending can have benefits for your bottom line. And giving to charity is one of them. We came across this great article from the president of the Denver Foundation and wanted to share it. It gives some solid reasons why a downturn in the economy is actually a perfect time for a company to step up its philanthropic efforts.
