With giving season upon us, we’re celebrating all of the unique ways to give back to causes we care about. And we’d love for you to join us!

This month, we’ve made it easier for you to find charitable campaigns you can support, and explore new ways to give to your favourite causes.

Give On this Holiday Season

Give On brings together a selection of some of the charitable campaigns you can donate to on Chimp — from school fundraisers to sports teams, to arts organizations and more. There’s truly something for everyone.

But if you’d rather give to a charity not listed here, simply choose the “Find a Charity” link, and search for your charity of choice. All 85,000 Canadian charities are easily accessible through Chimp.

Why Give in December

December is traditionally the biggest month for charitable giving; charities typically receive more than 30% of their donations this month. And while donating to your favourite charities is a nice way to give back at Christmas, you can also give charitable gifts to your friends, so that they can give to their favourite charities too!

Giving in December also gets you a tax receipt before the end-of-year tax cutoff. So you can feel good about giving now, and feel good all over again at tax time in the spring.
